The Leadership of the head teacher and senior managers was praised as was the confident, courteous pupils who are keen to learn. Commenting Mr Finnie said: "I must congratulate St Columba's High School on its excellent HMIE Report. "The eagerness of the pupils to learn is clear across all the years of the school and is one of the many reasons why almost all pupils from St Columba's go on to further education or employment on leaving school. "The fantastic leadership of the headteacher and the high expectation and good teamwork of all the staff must take a great deal of the credit for this wonderful report.
