ROSS FINNIE VISITS PARK MAINS HIGH SCHOOL

West of Scotland Liberal Democrat MSP Ross Finnie visited Park Mains High School in Erskine.

During the visit Ross met with 3rd and 5th year pupils. The pupils asked a range of questions from what motivated you to become an MSP, to why I opposed the SNP's proposals to increase the age which alcohol can be purchased to 21.

Commenting Mr Finnie said:

"The pupils were extremely knowledgeable about current political issues, debates and policy proposals. The questions they asked where well thought out and more difficult than some I have faced in Parliamentary debates.

"I always enjoy visiting local schools and find it very refreshing to see young pupils with a genuine interest and knowledge of local and national politics.

"I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Park Mains High School and look forward to being invited back for further political debate."
