West of Scotland Liberal Democrat MSP Ross Finnie has praised the work of St Stephen's Primary School in Clydebank.
In a report published by the HM Inspectorate of Education (HMIE) St Stephen's Primary School received four very good ratings and one good rating. The Head teacher and the Depute Head teacher's leadership for learning were also praised, as was the relationship between the staff and the children.
"I was very pleased by the report on St Stephen's Primary School.
"The School has developed wonderful approached towards the education of children, this can be seen in the eagerness of the children to learn and in the Schools interesting projects like the Titan Crane, where the children learned about the local tradition of ship building in interesting and innovative ways.
"St Stephen's Primary School has all the right ingredients to become a sector leading Primary School and I am very pleased that pupils in Clydebank are receiving such a high standard of Education."
